A catalog of solar flares with visible supra-arcade downflows, or SADs, imaged by SDO/AIA during solar cycle 24. SADs are dark, tadpole-like voids that descend through the solar corona toward bright post-flare loops. The SADCat was a UROP-funded project that I worked on with Dr. Ryan French.
View the Solar Physics paper...A three-dimensional, time-dependent density model of the structured solar wind that I am working on at LASP under Prof. Steven Cranmer. We analyze synthetic coronagraph imagery generated with STRIA to support the PUNCH mission and improve our understanding of flows near the Alfvén surface.
